Ingredients:
- 12 large strawberries
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mini chocolate chips (for the eyes)
- Red sprinkles or chopped strawberries (for the “buttons”)
- Fresh mint (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
- Prepare the strawberries: Wash the strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut the green tops off, then slice off a small piece from the bottom of each strawberry so they can stand up.
- Make the whipped cream: In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. You can use a hand mixer or whisk it by hand. Be careful not to over-whip.
- Assemble the Santas:
- Place the largest strawberry tip-side down on a plate (this will be the “body” of Santa).
- Spoon or pipe a dollop of whipped cream on top to form Santa’s “coat”.
- Add another strawberry on top (cut-side down) to create Santa’s “hat”.
- Pipe a small amount of whipped cream on top of the strawberry to form the pom-pom of the hat.
- Add the finishing touches:
- Place two mini chocolate chips on the whipped cream to make Santa’s eyes.
- Use a small dot of whipped cream to make a “button” on Santa’s coat. You can add red sprinkles or chopped strawberries for a fun, festive touch.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a “holly” effect.
- Serve and enjoy: These adorable Strawberry Santas make a perfect holiday treat for kids and adults alike!
Tips:
- Make ahead: You can prepare the strawberries and whipped cream ahead of time, but assemble them just before serving to keep them fresh.
- Vegan version: Use coconut whipped cream as a dairy-free alternative for a vegan version.
- Extra fun: Add a little powdered sugar on top of the whipped cream for an extra festive, snowy touch!
