- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices (or more if you love them!)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:
- Prepare the bread: Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Assemble the sandwich: On the non-buttered side of one slice of bread, spread a layer of pizza sauce. Sprinkle a pinch of garlic powder and dried oregano on top. Add a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and top with mini pepperoni slices. Sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
- Close the sandwich: Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
- Cook the sandwich: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
- Serve: Once the sandwich is crispy and golden, remove from the skillet and slice it in half. Serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping, if you like!
