Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough, if preferred)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
- Fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from heat and drain any excess fat.
- Prepare the maple bacon sauce: In a small bowl, mix the crumbled cooked bacon and maple syrup together. Set aside.
- Prepare the biscuit dough: Roll out each biscuit into a small circle (about 4 inches in diameter) if using biscuit dough. If using pizza dough, roll out dough and cut into small squares.
- Assemble the bombs: Place a spoonful of the cooked ground beef in the center of each dough circle. Add a few cubes of cheddar cheese and a teaspoon of the maple bacon syrup mixture on top of the beef. Fold the dough around the filling, pinching the edges together to seal it into a ball.
- Bake the bombs: Place the assembled bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds (if desired).
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Let the bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomato slices for a complete cheeseburger experience!
Notes:
- You can use any cheese of your choice, like mozzarella or American cheese, if you prefer.
- For a tangy twist, mix a little mustard into the maple bacon syrup.
- For a spicier kick, add some jalapeño slices to the filling before sealing the dough.
- These are great served with your favorite dipping sauce or ketchup!
