Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

These Cheesecake Crescent Rolls are a quick and easy dessert that combines the flakiness of crescent rolls with the creamy, sweet goodness of cheesecake filling. They’re perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a simple dessert that will impress your family and friends!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Prepare the cheesecake filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice (if using) until smooth and well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Fill the crescent rolls: Spoon a generous tablespoon of the cheesecake filling onto the widest part of each crescent dough triangle. Gently roll them up, starting from the wide end to the narrow tip, and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Brush with butter: Lightly brush each rolled-up crescent with melted butter for a golden, shiny finish.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar: Once out of the oven, dust the warm cheesecake crescent rolls with powdered sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  8. Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

Tips:

  • For a fun twist, you can add fruit preserves or a spoonful of fresh berries inside the roll along with the cheesecake filling.
  • If you want a more decadent dessert, drizzle a little chocolate sauce or caramel over the top after baking.
  • Be careful not to overfill the crescent rolls with the cheesecake mixture to avoid spilling out during baking.
