Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans

Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix the Batter:
- In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Bake the Bread:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing into squares. Serve as is or with a dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
