Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz egg noodles (or your favorite type of pasta)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
- Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Cook the chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the noodles: In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 2 minutes until soft. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Cook the noodles: Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Add the egg noodles and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8-10 minutes until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Make the buttered noodles: Once the noodles are cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the remaining butter and heavy cream. Add the Parmesan cheese and mix until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Combine the chicken and noodles: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, nestling them into the noodles. Let everything cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes to reheat the chicken.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes:
- For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the finished dish.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, let the noodles simmer longer before adding the cream and cheese.
- Feel free to use any pasta you have on hand, such as penne or fettuccine.
