- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
- Prepare the Brownie Dough:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until fully combined. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Peanut Butter Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until just combined. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Create the Swirl Cookies:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Take equal portions (about 1 tablespoon each) of the brownie dough and peanut butter dough. Press them together and gently roll into a ball. Flatten slightly to form a swirl pattern. Place on the baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake:
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers look slightly underbaked. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve:
- Enjoy warm with a glass of milk or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Tips for the Best Swirl Cookies
- Don’t Overmix Doughs: Gently press the two doughs together to maintain distinct swirls.
- Chill the Dough: Chilling helps the cookies hold their shape while baking.
- Add Chocolate Chips: For extra indulgence, mix chocolate chips into the brownie or peanut butter dough.
- Freeze Dough: Roll dough balls and freeze for easy, fresh-baked cookies anytime!
