Instructions:
Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

- Add the cream and cheese: Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens. Then, add the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
Step 4: Combine Pasta and Chicken
- Add the pasta: Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce to your desired consistency. Stir until the pasta is well coated.
- Add the chicken: Add the sliced or cubed chicken into the pasta and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat everything through.
Step 5: Serve
- Garnish and serve: Top with extra mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
